Ideas
- Giving students a space of their own where they can:
- Try something new
- Trade in materials
- Trade in their skills
- Start side hustles
- Trade time for help
- From this space create a platform that combines the ideas of student job search, vic deals, Pinterest and etsy where students can put their work or skills up for sale.
- Promotion of the ideas linked with the space could be put into places where people do not have a lot of time or can be boring - such as bus stops. Quick creative activities could be placed into these places encouraging people to use their spare time wisely. Showing how snippets of creativity can be beneficial for their well - being and productivity.
- Connect with elders in society that can teach us craftsmanship skills that are being lost in todays busy lifestyles.
- The space will give students from all disciplines in the college of creative art a space to meet and share knowledge, materials and skills.
- The space can be open after uni hours so that students can destress at the end of the day - when they are most likely to go home and waste the hours they have before bed.
