Rapid ideation 20 in 20
In class today we did rapid ideation using random imput and this 20 ideas in 20 mins challenge.
We like the ideas:
1. You only had $10 to make it?
place/table where people bring old stuff boxes, craft stuff etc that can be added to a pool that people can use to be creative.
2. You had to wear response?
Garment that can be doodled on by you and others, dress up items made from crafts.
3. It had to be inside a shipping container?
Studio space with fun creative materials and activities, shared tables, relaxed environment. Containers can be on campus and in public spaces.
4. The whole digital world had collapsed and there could be no digital component?
Using physical material to create physical stuff. Maybe a diary for scheduling.
5. It needed three different touch-points to communicate the one message?
- presentation and promotional material.
- Physical space.
- connecting with other students.
6. The Target audience was 5 years old?
Teaching kids the importance of creative time. Value of creative futures.
7. The primary colour was orange?
Fun vibrant space.
8. Your audience had 1 min to engage with the project?
Station for fast fun creative activities, could work as a intoduction.
9. The project had to be viewed from the sky?
Paint on the ground everyone can participate in, maybe a mural that is viewed from high up.
10. The project could one be used in the dark?

11. You had $1 million to make it?
a creative wing. Comfortable seating, coffee machine, good materials to use, comfortable realxing environment.
12. You had to use 10 screens?
Screens poped up over wellington that you can draw in with finger, like huge ipad.
13. If you were only allowed to use headphones?
Podcast series to inspire/ send you on an adventure.
14. If the response was an interpretive dance, where is the stage?
Interprestive dance in a dark room like "No Lights, No Lycra".
15. The Target audience was an elderly widow?
She could conduct workshops sharing her knowledge, connection and give.
16. The project was a sign on the side of the road with three words.

a whole lot of 45min workshops to introduce people to creatve processes and techniques.
18. The project was an installation on the waterfront?
Mural, container studio, drawing screens.

Challenges with that as the material, longest straw? structure? Connect people through team challenge.
